Built on a long tradition of entertaining families and visitors to the area, Silver Dollar City is one of the country’s most popular and cherished theme parks!
As you step into 1880s-styled theme park you are greeted by a smiling staff. Meander down into the park even further and you will be met by master artists practicing their craft, delicious local food options, rides, roller coasters, and more things to do than you could possibly fit into one day!
Starting with Marvel Cave in the 1960s, the theme park continues to grow and expand each year – having entertained millions of guests to the park over the years. Whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or dining options available, getting your thrill fix on one of the rides or roller coasters, taking in one of the park’s award-winning production shows, or watching master craftsmen practicing their art – there is really something for everyone in your family or group to enjoy!
As the theme park has grown, so has its offerings for visitors. With nearly a half-dozen different festivals taking place throughout the year – no matter when you are visiting, you will experience something a little different. From southern gospel to bluegrass & BBQ festivals, people who frequent the park will tell you that no two visits to Silver Dollar City are ever the same!

We visit SDC a few times every year with our season pass and always have a great time. Summer is fun for rides and winter is beautiful with the Christmas lights and decorations.
I would give them 5 stars if they would make their pricing a little more economical. Roller Coasters are World Class. The shows are great and are included in the ticket price. Food is amazing. It will fill up your belly, but it will also shrink your wallet fast. If you plan on staying all day, pack some sandwiches and put them in your car in a cooler. Souvenirs are pricey, so make sure your kids mow some lawns before you bring them : )
We usually only come once a year so no need in getting a season pass, but the kids LOVE it! We hope to make it down again soon… maybe the World Fest this year, I hear they have some interesting entertainment for that festival.
A special thanks to Kevin Lotter, Senior Manager with attractions and Guest Services. After first being told that a corporate discount could not be applied for season pass purchases not made in advance of arrival to the park, he spent several minutes and found a way to still allow the purchase to go through and our family was able to enjoy our day at the park. Greatly appreciated.
We purchase SDC season tickets every year. We attend several times during the year and always enjoy the fun. Going during each different theme that the park has makes each trip like a new adventure. Tickets are a little high for a one or two day pass but if you are going for a season pass the value is not bad. What ever you do, don’t miss the Christmas show.
