Soaring onto the opera scene in 1996, with his professional debut as Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore with the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center in New York City – George Dyer now continues his performances in Branson!
Performing extensively around North American opera houses, concert halls, and venues around the world, he has gained wide acclaim and recognition for his skills.
Mr. Dyer has been a district finalist for the Metropolitan Opera auditions, a guest soloist with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on multiple occasions, and was a national finalist in the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program auditions.
With a voice described as “maddeningly charming”, “rich”, “clear”, “powerful”, “silken”, and “gorgeous” with “soaring” high notes – his phenomenal combination of beautiful lyric tenor voice and handsome good looks make the Gorge Dyer Show one not to be missed on your next trip to Branson!
Acclaimed by national critics and recognized as one 0f the finest tenors in the world, George was named as the “2010 Vocalist of the Year” by Branson Critic and was nominated an additional 11 times in various categories.
You’ll hear everything from “Hallelujah,” “Bring Him Home,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” to “Nessun Dorma” and “Mack the Knife” performed onstage by Mr. Dyer who is accompanied by his wife Clarisse and daughter Kendra – who are all backed by a 5-piece band.
