This is one of the shows we go see every time we’re in Branson. My wife really likes the show, but I think the food is just awesome and they give you a bunch of it. The biscuits and soup they serve are just out of this world good.
Hi there! thank you so much for a nice review! Have you ever been on Yelp.com? If not we would love you to post your review on there as well! And please come see us for 2012 we have added a new feature called Rumble in the Treetops! Hope to see you soon!
I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love this show. It has something for everyone from horses and trick riding to some of the best food you can get anywhere. I was a little surprised to have to eat with my fingers but I decided it did add to the old time effect. Besides, the food is incredible!
Great food! Amazing horse riding tricks! Really audience oriented with all of the contest, they even let people participate in the arena. The only reason I gave Dixie Stampede a 4 is that Dolly isn’t there : (
This show was fantastic. I would recommend this for all ages. It is an indoor arena, with trick horse riding, pig races, singing, dancing, audience participation, and some of the best food in town. I was a little hesitant about the food served on such a large scale (and eating without fork, knife, or spoon). But to my surprise, it was very flavorful, hot, and plentiful! I was a little disappointed that we missed the pre-show. We bought out tickets from an outlet and were not told about the show that is included in the price, that starts an hour earlier than the actual show time. We will go again, and now know this. Take your young or your elderly! All will love this one!
Sasha! I appreciate such a friendly review of the show! I have worked here on and off for 9 years and have such a passion for this place! I too love the show and memories I’ve experienced not only working here but also from seeing the show at a younger age! Please come see us again and pass the word along! Thanks again!
Thank you for mentionng the pre show! We are getting ready to go and we didn’t know this either!
I’m in my 60′s and went to see the Dixie Stampede , not knowing what to expect and not sure about it. From the start to the finish the show was great. In April I’m going back to Branson. I’m taking a friend to see the show for her first time. The food was great and I can’t wait to go back.
Hey guys and gals! Would like to invite everyone to come see us for 2012! We have added a new feature and Branson Travel office can fill you in on all the exciting up to date information! Remember to book early, we are already selling shows out!
Awesome show and food!
Last time we saw the show we sat in the D section and was treated like kings, great show, great food, please keep it going, every time we are in Branson we see this show, and we have seen the new show, wonderful great job Dolly.
I went for the first time last year and I wasn’t over thrilled as I thought it was all about country western and thats not my thing. I was so wrong! The show was great and I think everyone should go here at least once for the experience. We saw the Christmas Show and it was gorgeous and very entertaining. The food was wonderful and I walked out full to the gills. You will not be disappointed. We are coming back next month and plan to make this a yearly trip. Oh and don’t forget about the pre-show entertainment. You will love it!
We first visited the Dixie Stampede, during an RV trip, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn and were thrilled with the show. On this years trip we flew our young adult grandchildren into Branson and took them to the Dixie Stampede. I swear it was better than the first time. Guaranteed, whenever we’re in the neighborhood we’ll be back.
We visited your fine show last night and I would just like to say that the performers have some great looking horses and take pride in what they ride. The main characters Morgan is one beautiful animal and he should be proud of his animal. The food was plentiful and very tasty and the show was great all I can say is that the Brighton bulldog high school band enjoyed themselves at the show.
